Man charged with city centre murder

A MAN is to stand trial for murdering a man in a city centre street.

Luke Quinn, 32, from East Renfrewshire, yesterday appeared at the High Court in Glasgow, accused of killing Simon Richardson last November in Wellington Street. It is claimed Mr Quinn stamped on and kicked Mr Richardson. Judge Lord Turnbull set a trial due to begin in June.
