A MAN is to appear at court charged with murder following the discovery of a body in a flat.
Police said that the remains of Gavin Ross, 28, were found by officers in a property in the Abbeyview area of Dunfermline on Thursday.
Detectives launched an investigation and a 26-year-old man has now been arrested and charged with murder.
He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
