THE WORLD'S End murder trial was adjourned for 24 hours yesterday to allow consideration of a 47-page forensic report lodged late on Monday by the defence.

Lord Matthews, who is presiding over the trial of Angus Sinclair, 69, at Livingston High Court, told jurors the adjournment was to allow all parties to digest the new report. Sinclair denies acting with his late brother-in-law Gordon Hamilton to murder two 17-year-old girls.
