Police seek potential sex assault witness

Images have been released showing a man police believe could have witnessed a sex attack on a woman as she walked through a park.

The 27-year-old was making her way home from work across Glasgow Green when she was attacked and sexually assaulted at about 11.30pm on Saturday, April 19.

Detectives are appealing for the man in the CCTV footage to contact police as it is thought he may have information that can help officers with their investigation.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with medium length dark brown hair. He was wearing dark jeans and a dark sleeved top or shirt.

Detective Inspector Diane Caldwell, said: "I would appeal to anyone who knows the man or his whereabouts to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.

"I also appeal directly to the man himself to get in touch with officers."
