Heroin, cocaine and cannabis with a street value of nearly £40,000 has been seized during raids across Aberdeen.

Three men aged 25, 28 and 38 have been charged following the recoveries in the Pennan Road and Raasay Gardens areas of the city.

The raids took place on Tuesday and Police Scotland praised members of the public who helped with the operation.

Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said: "We are committed to targeting those who are involved in the illegal supply of drugs but we cannot do this alone. We rely on our communities to report any suspicious or concerning behaviour to us and we are grateful to those who have got in touch."

The men are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
