A 14-year-old girl, who is battling cancer for a third time, has undergone successful vital surgery in New York after raising more than £340,000 in a month.
Kira Noble has already endured six rounds of chemotherapy, major abdominal surgery and radiotherapy, and has also taken oral drugs in her cancer fight.
Her mother, friends and wellwishers across the world raised hundreds of thousands of pounds in the past month to get an appointment with a world-class surgeon.

And on Wednesday, at around 4.30pm UK time, Kira successfully had her tumour taken out after nearly seven hours of treatment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.
Mum Aud Noble, 51, from Edinburgh, said she was "happy and proud" to share the news with her thousands of followers and well-wishers on Facebook.

She said: "Obviously, a follow-up scan will take place to clarify this news and more treatment will be put in place to deal with any remaining microscopic cells that could be hanging around.
"I cannot describe my feelings as being relieved - it's more a case of I believed in this all along.
"I believed in the skills of this surgeon and felt confident in his unsurpassable skills in resecting challenging tumours.
"My unfaltering confidence remained with me all day long - my hope and my belief remained strong throughout.
"So, so happy and proud to share with you amazing people this fantastic news that you all made possible with your fundraising efforts to help us make it here to NYC.
"She will be delighted to learn that surgery was a success after travelling all the way to NYC in the middle of her third journey with Neuroblastoma."

The surgery comes after the teenager captured hearts in Edinburgh and beyond, with the Noble family managing to smash their target by more than £100,000.
A total of £437,000 was raised to pay for Kira’s trip to have specialised surgery.
Steve Richards, chief executive of Solving Kids’ Cancer UK, said: "We are all thinking of Kira and will continue to do so in the coming days and weeks, wishing her a speedy recovery."
