POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a pensioner who has gone missing near Stirling.

Tom Robb, 74, a dementia sufferer, was reported missing at around 7pm on Saturday after he failed to return home to his farm in the Carron Valley.

Mr Robb was last seen that day at Duncarron Fort in the Carron Valley where a music festival was being held.

He was also seen a short time earlier by a group of walkers in the Meikle Bin area.

Inspector Charlie Mitchell, of Central Scotland Police, said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Tom as the weather has deteriorated and he is not properly dressed for the cold and wet."

Mr Robb is described as 5ft 10in, of medium build, with balding grey hair. He was wearing a two-tone grey jumper and blue trousers.
