Apple to open new store in Scots capital

Apple has confirmed it will open a new store in Edinburgh.

The technology giant will open its first store in the capital in Princes Street. Apple's distinctive logo was unveiled at the location of the Princes Street store this morning.

A date for the opening has yet to be announced. Details about the store's layout and the number of jobs it will create have also to be confirmed.
