Ball raises £500k for National Trust

A CHARITY ball held in support of the National Trust for Scotland raised more than £500,000.

The President's Ball, held at Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire, was hosted by TV personality Rory Bremner and featured entertainment by violinist Nicola Benedetti. The funds raised will be used to carry out a wide range of preservation projects.
