COMEDIAN Billy Connolly has admitted he once smoked the Bible.
The Big Yin revealed he and music legend Gerry Rafferty used pages from the book as cigarette paper to smoke cannabis.
Billy recalled the unlikely tale as he spoke about the death of Gerry.
He explained he was texting Gerry, who was on his death bed and unable to speak on the phone, when he reminded him of the incident to make him laugh.
The comedian was in the folk group the Humblebums with Gerry when the incident happened in the 1960s.
"It was Revelation," he joked, speaking to chat show host Conan O'Brien.
