Call for car ban on Princes Street

AN action group has set up a petition calling for the permanent removal of cars and buses from one of the busiest thoroughfares in Scotland.

Cycling lobbyist Spokes has started the petition with Edinburgh City Council calling for only trams, pedestrians and bikes to be allowed on Princes Street from 2014.
