Child in hospital after car crash

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

The B999 in Pitmedden, Aberdeenshire, was closed to traffic following the incident at around 11.25am yesterday. The four-year-old was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital by ambulance. The extent of the child's injuries are not known.
