REIGNING Scottish designer of the year Christopher Kane is back in the running to win a fourth successive award in 2015.
He has been included amongst the five nominees for the coveted gong at this year's Scottish Fashion Awards. He has taken the title in the last three years.
The other nominees are Holly Fulton, Jonathan Saunders, Kestin Hare and Patrick Grant.
Jean Campbell, last year's model of the year is nominated again in 2015 along with Misha Hart, Paull Carrigan and Ellie Bennett.
The battle for the Scottish textile brand of the year gong will be between Robert Noble, ESK, Barrie Knitwear, Edition Scotland and Brora.
And the winner of the Scottish Retailer of the Year award will be between findra.co.uk, honeyz.com, weareponymous.com, Walker Slater and tenslife.com.
The Olympus Pen-sponsored awards presented at will take place at the Corinthia London Hotel to mark the ceremony's 10th anniversary.
It will be co-hosted by the RT Hon David Mundell MP Secretary of State for Scotland and chairman and awards founder Dr Tessa Hartmann.
"We're having a gala party this year to showcase the incredible Scottish fashion, design and textile talent we have working in Scotland and
around the world. There will be DJ's and a club décor will replace the formality of banqueting tables. Once the awards are presented the
celebrations will begin and as you know we Scot's do love to throw a good party," said Ms Hartmann.
The decision making process will begin in earnest next week with a stellar line up of judges including supermodel Stella Tennant who will have a challenging task.
Nominees for the luxury retailer of the year award are Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh, Watches of Switzerland in Glasgow, Belstaff in Glasgow, Burberry in Edinburgh and Emporio Armani in Glasgow.
Battling for the young designer of the year gone will be Le Kilt, Cats Brothers, Mairi Macdonald, Emily Millichip and Kelly Dawn Riot.
Meanwhile Rachael Eustace and Melissa Villevieille of the Edinburgh College of Art, Jonathan Douglas of the Glasgow School of Art, Charles Jeffrey of Central St.Martins and Ryan Cowie of Gray's School of Art will compted for the fashion graduate of the year award.
Kate Spade of New York, Moschino, Topman and I'M Isola Marras are nominated for the best international designer which made best use of Scottish fabric award.
