THE race is on to find a missing Scottish Lotto millionaire before the deadline this Thursday.

The ticket-holder stands to receive a Lotto raffle prize worth £1,000,000, but it yet to come forward.

National Lottery organisers say that the ticket, for the draw on Saturday 22 November last year, was bought in East Ayrshire with a winning Lotto raffle code was PINK 65821189.

As the search enters the final furlong, lucky racehorse Rogue and jockey Daniel Richmond 'hoofed' it to Ayr's iconic racecourse to help help jog the missing ticket-holder's memory.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We are racing towards the deadline and we would hate for the winner to miss out on this prize as it has the potential to change their life.

"Horse racing is known as the 'Sport of Kings' and we really want our mystery millionaire to have the chance to live like a king and enjoy their winnings.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
