A GROUP of daring hunting ladies jumped on their horses and rode naked through the Scottish countryside for a charity calendar.

The nine women, from the Jedforest Hunt, decided to do a naked calendar after they were inspired by the famous poster of a female tennis player lifting her skirt.

The ladies wanted a "cheeky but tasteful" calendar to help raise money for Spinal Research. After a few champagnes, they stripped off and rode through fields, outside stables and at the Kelso races.

Kate MacTaggart, 37, from Bedrule, said: "We are always looking for new and different ideas to raise money for the hunt itself and to do it for another charity is also really important to us.

"It was nerve racking at first and no one knew what they had let themselves in for."
