RYAN Sullivan takes a step back in time as the King of Rock 'n' Roll for a series of concerts inspired by the cultural legacy of Elvis Presley.

Sullivan studies under bassoonist Peter Whelan at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Whelan, along with Ryan Quigley and Claron McFadden, will join the Hebrides Ensemble at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on November 10 before dates in Dundee, Edinburgh and Gateshead. The programme includes Michael Daugherty's radical piece Dead Elvis.
