TEENAGE hearts were fluttering yesterday when global pop sensation One Direction arrived in town for their only Scottish concerts as part of their worldwide tour.
Harry Styles, Zayn Malik (pictured), Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson played the SECC in Glasgow last night and return to the stage tonight before jetting off on a tour to North America, Canada and Australia.
The band flew into Glasgow on a private jet and went straight to the SECC for a sound check. Before the gig, Niall tweeted: "Glasgow! U ready for tonight ! Love a good Scottish crowd! Lets go! Up early this morning! Gona get a sleep on the bus !"
