Doctor suspended for clinical errors

A doctor who admitted the potentially lethal dose of insulin she prescribed to an 87-year-old woman was "enough for an elephant" has been banned from working for nine months.

Dr Lucy Mahinda was found to have made a number of clinical blunders during one shift at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
