Tory MP Nadine Dorries is facing a Commons investigation into whether she should have declared her fee following her appearance on TV show I'm A Celebrity ...

Ms Dorries said she felt hounded following the announcement last night, after earlier declaring she had not benefited personally from her appearance on the ITV1 entertainment programme last year.

Commons standards commissioner Kathryn Hudson has accepted a complaint about whether she should have registered her income.

Ms Dorries later claimed Labour MP John Mann had reported her for alleged undeclared earnings. She tweeted: "Anything I earn, I declare immediately. If I haven't declared anything, it's because I haven't earnt anything. I must be the most hounded MP in Parliament."

The Mid Bedfordshire MP was suspended from her party's whip for six months after she missed key votes during her time in the jungle. She is also under investigation by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority over expenses allegations.
