TV show Britain's Got More Talent has been rapped by the broadcasting watchdog for an episode in which a burlesque act stripped off.

Ofcom said that showing a striptease act when many children were watching "clearly crossed" the line before the 9pm watershed.

The spin-off ITV2 show was first shown on Saturday April 13 at 8.35pm, but was repeated at 5.30pm, 1.25pm and 6.30am on other days of the week.

Ofcom's Tony Close said: "The protection of children from potentially harmful content is a key area of concern for Ofcom."
