THE Duchess of Cambridge has attended the launch of a fundraising campaign to help East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) build a new £10 million facility near the Norfolk village of Framingham Earl.

Kate, who is royal patron of the hospices, has played an active role in the campaign and introduced ceramics manufacturer Emma Bridgewater to EACH and suggested a range of mugs that could be designed toraise funds. As she was shown the designs for the first time and handed a giant teapot yesterday, Kate joked: "I'll probably drop it."
