Dunfermline forward Jordan Moore has revealed he is battling skin cancer.

The on-loan Dundee United player has not played for two months after undergoing treatment.

The 20-year-old, who has been on loan at East End Park since August, wrote on his Twitter account: "Few folk asking why I haven't been playing recently.. Been fighting melonoma skin cancer past few months! Hopefully be back soon"

United manager Jackie McNamara said: "He had some surgery last month and we are just making sure everything is okay. We are hopeful he has come through it and there is good news ahead for him.

"It gave us all a massive fright but we are giving him every help we can."
