Garden branches out
TV presenter Cat Cubie is predicting great things for a new £100,000 appeal.
Cubie was at the Tree Hub project in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens yesterday to launch the fundraising bid. The Tree Hub will be an information point in the Gardens linking the city with all the major tree collections throughout Scotland. The campaign is directly appealing to the people who enjoy the Gardens on a regular basis. Around 50,000 people walk through the Gardens every week and if each of those people donate £2, then the Tree Hub's target will be met.
