DANIEL SANDERSON INTERPOL has been called in to assist in tracking down the families of two men who were found dead in Perthshire this week. Police recovered two bodies from Kinnoull Hill, on the outskirts of Perth, yesterday. They located the body of a 55-year-old man, whose family had raised concerns about his wellbeing, and while conducting the search also came across the body of a second male. The 55-year-old is believed to be local, although his family are based abroad. The issue has led to a delay in formally identifying the body. The other male, whose age has not been released, is not a UK national and is believed to have been a migrant worker. While police believe they have made a positive identification, they are making efforts to inform his next of kin abroad and have the body formally identified. A police source said: "Unfortunately, these things can be very slow." There is no connection between the deaths and their bodies were discovered some distance apart. There were no suspicious circumstances in either case. Kinnoull Hill, a popular beauty spot, has attracted a tragic reputation as a suicide hot-spot.
