The solid gold trophy has been making its way around the world as part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca??Cola.
Embarking on a journey of nearly 100,000 miles - which is 3.75 times around the world - it will visit 90 countries across six continents before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The FIFA World Cup Trophy, which can only be touched by previous winners or Heads of State, is in the UK for seven days before moving on to the Netherlands.
Already, it has travelled to 77 countries prior to its arrival in the UK, where it first went on show in London, and will continue on to Cardiff on Sunday.
In total Scotland have had eight appearances in the World Cup with the last nearly two decades ago in 1998. Currently the team have a world ranking of 37.
And while they may not be heading to the World Cup this year, pub chain JD Wetherspoon anticipates its pubs to be busy in Scotland as those in England, as they are expecting people to turn out to cheer for whoever is playing against the Auld Enemy.
