Jail term cut for gun threat sailor

A ROYAL Navy sailor who pulled a gun on a senior officer during a breakdown has had his sentence cut from three years to 14 months and has been freed from jail.

Leading seaman Kevin Moffat, 45, originally from Edinburgh, was suffering a mental disorder triggered by fears he would miss his child's birth.
