LEGENDARY singer Sir Tom Jones wowed crowds at Edinburgh Castle last night with a set of his greatest hits.

The Welsh vocalist, who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, performed an eclectic mix of pop, rock, R 'n' B, dance and soul in his usual show-stopping style.

Performing to a sell-out crowd of thousands, he sang some of his greatest hits - including It's Not Unusual, What's New Pussycat, Delilah, Green, Green Grass of Home, She's a Lady, Kiss and Sex Bomb.

Sir Tom has become a well-known TV personality in recent years as a star of reality TV show The Voice.

The 74-year-old is one of the talent show's judges, alongside Australian songstress Kylie Minogue, R 'n' B star Will.I.Am and Ricky Wilson from rock band the Kaiser Chiefs.

The singer, who was awarded an OBE in 1999 and later a knighthood in 2006 for services to music, has received numerous other awards throughout his career.

These have included the Grammy Award for best new artist in 1966, an MTV Video Music Award in 1989 and two Brit Awards - winning best British male in 2000, and outstanding contribution to music in 2003.

He has sung with an eclectic range of stars over the decades - including Elvis Presley, Chrissie Hynde and Robbie Williams.
