A belt made from gold plated steel and a seashell clock featuring the face of Imelda Marcos are in a new show at the Glasgow School of Art.

A Conspiracy of Detail, features The Belt, by Scottish artist Jim Lambie, a graduate of the school, and works by Alex Pollard, Eva Rothschild, Hew Locke, Jonathan Baldock, Karin Ruggaber and Renee So.

The seashell decorated desk clock a was gift to the artist Pio Abad's father, with Imelda Marcos's profile painted on the stand.

The piece had been sent as a Christmas gift by the wife of former dictator, Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines. Rejected by the artist's father, the clock was reclaimed by Abad.

A GSA graduate, Abad's work looks at how the Marcos regime hid the realities of life under a rich display of wealth and decoration.
