AN inmate who went on the run from Castle Huntly prison has been traced by police.
Robert Wilson, 39, had been granted a temporary release to an address in Glasgow and was due back at the prison, which is near Dundee, on Wednesday.
Police launched a search after he failed to return.
Officers launched an appeal revealing that the missing prisoner has distinctive tear drop shaped tattoos underneath each eye.
