Three motorcyclists were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A9, which closed the road for more than two hours.
The accident happened a mile south of Helmsdale, near Brora, in the Highlands. One rider was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, while the other two were taken to Caithness General Hospital, Wick.
