Murder hunt after body found

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after the body of a man who was missing for three days was discovered by police.

Angus McKechnie, 31, was found dead at his home in James Street, Whins of Milton, near Bannockburn, at 10.30am on Tuesday.

Officers found the body of Mr McKechnie, known as Ryan, at the property after concerns were raised he had not been seen for three days.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Cunningham, from the major investigation team, said: "We are asking anyone who remembers seeing or hearing anything untoward in or around James Street in the past few days to contact police immediately."
