Musical movement

The cast of the Glasgow Girls take to their chairs as they fight to save their friends from deportation.

Cast members Stephanie McGregor, who plays Ewelina, Juliana Yazbeck (Roza) and Amaka Okafor (Amal) were involved in dress rehearsals yesterday ahead of the curtain coming up at the Citizens Theatre last night. Adapted by David Greig, the musical tells the story of how three girls joined forces with their teachers and neighbours to launch the campaign that then took the Government's immigration policies to the top of the political agenda.

The production runs until 8 March.
