A SEARCH for a motorist who caused a 12-hour power outage in Glasgow by driving into an electricity junction box is continuing.
Police are searching for the motorist whose car - believed to be a new Ford Fiesta - smashed into the box near Kinning Park Subway station at about 12.40am on Friday.
Commuters faced major disruption after the underground station closed and 40 nearby homes and a nursery lost power.
The driver left the scene before police arrived.
