Rapper Dizzee Rascal to headline Wickerman

DIZZEE Rascal is to headline this year's Wickerman, the leading Scots independent music and arts festival.

The British rap star, best known for number one hits Bonkers, Dance Wiv Me and Holiday, will headline the first of the two-day festival in Dumfries and Galloway.

He will join English pop rock band The Feeling, Motown legends Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, legendary Scots rockers Big Country and 60s psychedelic pop group The Zombies at East Kirkcarswell Farm on July 25 and 26.

Providing a Scots feel will be Dumfries & Galloway's Finding Albert who will showcase their rock and electronica and Dundee's Model Aeroplanes, fresh from winning the Best Newcomers at the 2014 Scottish Alternative Music Award.
