Rowling appears at Scots festival
JK ROWLING would rather write unpopular books than return to the world of wizards and Harry Potter.
In her only public appearance in Scotland this year, the author indicated she would not return to the children's series.
Speaking at Lennoxlove Book Festival in East Lothian, she said: "I mean this from my heart and soul, but I would rather spend the rest of my career writing books I love but others don't love so much than trying to repeat something I've already done."
