RYANAIR is to scrap its four flights a week service from Prestwick Airport to Paris Beauvais.

The budget airline is also cutting its route from Prestwick to Faro, Portugal, from November 6 until March 29 next year and is hinting there could be more reductions in its service from the Ayrshire airport next year.

Ryanair is also reviewing all routes for its summer 2014 schedule.

The airline currently operates four flights each week from Prestwick to Beauvais, north of the French capital, and five to Faro.

Ryanair said it would be increasing capacity on its Prestwick to Dublin route this winter.
