POLITICIAN Tommy Sheridan hit out at 'thugs' who egged his Glasgow home.
The ex-Socialist MSP his young daughter Gabrielle has been left terrified by the incident on Monday night.
Mr Sheridan tweeted: "Wee b*****ds. Just had house windows egged by four thugs shouting "Sheridan ya f****n b*****d".
"Wee Gabrielle is very upset."
He reported to the incident to police.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police called around 8.25pm on Monday June 22 to a report of eggs thrown at a house in Cardonald, Glasgow.
"Police advice was given."
Mr Sheridan had tweeted that sectarian abuse had also been shouted as the eggs where thrown.
However, police said there was no report of sectarian abuse.
