Students expelled for 'misconduct'

EIGHT students were expelled from Stirling University last year for cheating.

They were among more than 1000 cases of "academic misconduct" at the university over the last five years. Figures obtained by a Freedom of Informa-tion request show that last year, eight of 28 students not allowed to complete their intended degrees were thrown out of the university.
