Sundance award for Glasgow film

A FILM set in Glasgow and written and directed by Belle & Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch has won a prize at America's Sundance Film Festival.

The Utah festival awarded Murdoch's musical, God Help The Girl the Special Jury Award for Ensemble Performance. The as yet unreleased film tells the tale of a group of young musicians in Glasgow.
