A 17-YEAR-OLD girl died after being struck by a car at a petrol station.
Eilish Herron was at Linwood Asda petrol station when she was hit by a Ford Focus that had collided with her Renault Clio.
Police said Ms Herron had been filling her own car with petrol when she was struck.
Emergency services attended but she died at the scene. The male driver of the other car was uninjured.
Police inquiries are continuing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Inspector Andy McIlraith, of the Road Policing Unit, is appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact officers in Renfrew via the non emergency number 101.
