Thousands donated to Clutha appeal

THOUSANDS of pounds have already been donated from around the world to the fund helping bereaved relatives and survivors of the Clutha helicopter crash.

Fund organisers are overwhelmed by the number of calls from people pledging support.

The fund was kicked-off with a £20,000 donation from Glasgow City Council and Alex Salmond announced the Scottish Government would match that amount.
