THREE PEOPLE have been taken to hospital after a serious assault in Edinburgh.
Two men and a women were rushed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the incident on Wardieburn East Street around 4.50am today.
They are not thought to have life threatening injuries and police are understood not to be looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The area surrounding the scene was cordoned off as officers carried out investigation work.
