Tributes have been paid to a young TV presenter who died suddenly at her family home in Goathill, Stornoway.

Diane Morrison, 25, suffered a heart attack on Sunday.

She regularly presented De Tha Dol, the coming events slot on BBC Alba, and was employed as a researcher at the BBC in Stornoway. She also appeared on various Gaelic language radio programmes.

Ms Morrison was raised in Stornoway, where she attended primary school and later the Nicolson Institute secondary school.

Roy Templeton, head of communications at BBC Scotland, said: "Our sincere and heartfelt sympathies go to her sister, Karen, also a BBC colleague, and to her parents Murdo and Catherine."

The funeral is on Saturday, at 11.30am, in the Kenneth Street Free Church, Stornoway.

A wake will be held for her on Friday night.
