A LEADING Scot in the fashion industry is to become an honorary professor at Glasgow Caledonian University

Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, is a champion of home grown talent such as Christopher Kane.

Professor Rush, originally from Bishopbriggs, will give a lecture today in which she will discuss how the industry will develop.

The British School of Fashion will also announce the launch of two new Masters programmes and a new Women in Fashion research programme.
