Urban forest plan for disused land

AN urban forest of more than 25,000 trees is to be created in the middle of of Stirling.

The 42-acre wood will be planted on disused land beside the River Forth near the Peak swimming pool and Forthbank Stadium. Councillor Danny Gibson said: "We think this project is an excellent idea for this site."
