Winter wonders

Scots Winter Olympic heroes returned to Britain last night and showed off the reasons why Team GB had such a successful Sochi trip.

A silver medal for Lockerbie's David Murdoch's all-Scottish rink and a bronze for Eve Muirhead's similarly Caledonian side contributed to GB matching its medal haul from Chamonix, 1924.

Joining the Scots at Heathrow Airport were England's Team GB skeleton gold medallist Lizzy Yarnold (middle left) and snowboard slopestyle bronze medallist Jenny Jones (middle right).
