AN ANCIENT monument is to be restored to its former glory after it toppled over following heavy rain.
Days of downpours in January proved to be too much for the Dane's Stone in Moulin, near Pitlochry, Perthshire, which is believed to date back to the neolithic era or Bronze Age, but work has begun to re-erect it.
