A BEAUTY queen's toddler son has died despite the efforts by paramedics to save him.

Police investigating the tragedy at the home of model Amanda Hardie, who is the current face of Inverness, are treating the death as unexplained.

Police were called to Ms Hardie's home in a block of flats in Mackintosh Road, Inverness, on Sunday. Police remained at the property and detectives were interviewing neighbours yesterday.

A Police Scotland in Inverness said: "We are investigating the death of a two year old boy in the Mackintosh Road area of Inverness.

"Emergency services were called around 3.06pm to the address and attempts were made to resuscitate him but these were unsuccessful. The death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem will be carried out".
