A HOST of celebrities have gathered in London to raise funds for a new Prince and Princess of Wales hospice in Glasgow.

The star-studded line-up included a host of Scots including singers Sharleen Spiteri and Lulu.

Other stars at the Regent Street event were Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Anne Mitchell, Libby McArthur, John Michie, Mary Portas, Amanda Wakely, Carol Smillie, Richard Arnold, Christopher Biggins, Jim Diamond and Alan Brazil.

Edith Bowman was the DJ at the event which was to feature a silent auction featuring Gucci and Rolex watches, an Irn Bru mountain bike and paintings and portraits by Scots contemporary artist Gerard Burns.

The event was organised by a committee of successful, London based philanthropic Scots including Brian Duffy, the CEO of Watches of Switzerland.
