Thomas Woolridge, the famous leopard man of Skye, passed away on Sunday aged 80 according to reports.

Mr Woolridge earned his nickname after covering his body with leopard-like tattoos.

For many years, the English-born ex-soldier, was the world’s most tattooed man and recognised as the most tattooed senior citizen.

He lived on the island of Skye for many years before moving to a care home in Inverness .
